ONE RACE DOESN’T DECIDE MXoAN.
Each class races three heats over the weekend, one on Saturday and two on Sunday.
So, what’s a heat?
A heat is simply one race for that class. The same riders line up and race again, with points awarded according to where they finish each time.
That means winning the first heat doesn’t mean you’ve won the weekend. Riders still have two more races to get through, and every result matters.
It takes more than outright speed. Consistency, fitness and keeping it together across all three heats can make the difference.
THREE HEATS. EVERY RESULT COUNTS.
