On this occasion, the Foundation Board addressed many topics, in particular the following:
Situation in Ukraine: The Board expressed its sympathy and solidarity with all those suffering, as a result of the Russian invasion in Ukraine. Faithful to its goal of humanitarian aid to the motorcycling community, the Foundation made a pledge of EUR 10,000 to the Ukrainian Olympic Community and sports movements put in place by the International Olympic Committee. In addition, the IFM called for solidarity with the Ukrainian population and in particular with the motorcycling community of Ukraine and invited the motorcycling community to also bring assistance to the best of their abilities.
Finance: The Board approved the 2021 audited financial statements and activity report that will be submitted to the Swiss Foundation Supervisory Authority. The Foundation Board also acknowledged receipt of firm pledges from donators to contribute to its aims, which are to promote and support the development of motorcycling internationally and the interests of the international motorcycling community. BDO, an international company delivering insurance, tax and financial advisory services, was appointed as external auditor for the 2022 financial statements.

2022 activities: Discussions related to the activities which will be supported throughout 2022 were held. The Foundation decided to award CHF 25,000 to Two Wheels For Life/Riders for Health, an association providing transport services for healthcare programmes in Africa and mainly in The Gambia, Nigeria, Malawi and Lesotho.
In addition, the Foundation will encourage the participation of women in the 2022 edition of the FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) by making financial subsidies available to FIM affiliated National Federations (FMNs) registering women riders for this FIM event. The IFM will credit to FMNs EUR 250 per female rider registered to compensate the inscription fee increase.
Furthermore, the IFM remains engaged in and committed to caring for road safety and mobility programmes, education & training, environment protection, promotion of women in sporting structures, social and historical legacy of the FIM and motorcycling activities, in line with its mission.
