Meet Tommy Gous, our Team Captain & Training Lead. Tommy leads Team Namibia both on and off the track, coordinating rider training, planning and leading training sessions, and working closely with riders and support teams to ensure everyone is prepared for the championship. As one of Namibia’s most accomplished motocross riders, he brings invaluable experience, leadership and mentorship to the team.

Meet Lisa Waldschmidt, our Hospitality Lead. Lisa oversees hospitality and the overall guest experience, coordinating everything from VIP hosting, vendors and the opening parade to prize-giving and spectator services. Her focus is ensuring that every rider, official, sponsor and guest feels welcome throughout MXoAN 2026.

Meet Sigi Pack, our Infrastructure & Maintenance Lead. From overseeing the event infrastructure and site setup to managing utilities, equipment and facilities, Sigi plays a key role in preparing MXoAN 2026 for race weekend. He also led the construction of our new 40-rider start gates, helping ensure the championship meets international standards and is ready to welcome Africa’s best riders.

From designing and building the track to preparing the venue, overseeing maintenance and ensuring it meets FIM Africa standards, Ingo is the driving force behind the championship venue. His passion, experience and countless hours of hands-on work help create a track that will challenge Africa’s best riders.

Meet Elzaan du Plessis, our Event Secretary. Elzaan oversees the event’s administration, planning and finances, while coordinating official documentation. She also serves as the main point of contact with FIM Africa, the NMSF, and the participating African teams, ensuring clear communication and smooth coordination throughout the championship.
