INFORMATION – FIM CEV REPSOL MOTO3™ JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP – 2020 CALENDAR UPDATE 23 MARCH

Please find enclosed the Press Release / FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship 2020 Calendar Update 23 MARCH – Season opener at Portimao postponed

Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, Round 1 of the FIM CEV Repsol has been postponed.


The event was set to take place from the 23rd to the 26th of April at Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, and will now be rescheduled for later in the year.

The new date will be announced in due time.

INFORMATION – FIM TRIAL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS & PRIZES – 2020 CALENDARS, UPDATE 20 MARCH

As the global outbreak of coronavirus continues to develop and restrictions put in place, the FIM, the Autoklub of the Czech Republic, Motorcycle Federation of Japan, Federació Motociclista d’Andorra, regret to announce that the FIM Trial World Championship Events, TrialGP Czech Republic – Sokolov (CZE / 23-24 May), TrialGP Japan – Motegi (JPN/06-07 June) and the TrialGP Andorra – Sant Julià (AND/20-21 June) are postponed.

All parties are currently evaluating if it will be possible to re-schedule the events later this season.

INFORMATION – FIM X-TRIAL DES NATIONS IN LIÉVIN RESCHEDULED FOR 6 NOVEMBER

Please find enclosed the Press Release / FIM X-Trial des Nations in Liévin rescheduled for 6 November.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak and restriction put in place, a decision was taken to postpone the FIM X-Trial des Nations that was initially scheduled to take place on 3 April, in Liévin, France.

The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), the Fédération Française de Motocyclisme (FFM), the promoter 2Play and the local organiser are pleased to announce that the event has been rescheduled for 6 November.

INFORMATION – FIM ENDURANCE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP – 24 HEURES MOTOS RESCHEDULED FOR 29 AND 30 AUGUST 2020

Please find enclosed the Press Release / FIM Endurance World Championship 24 Heures Motos rescheduled for 29 and 30 August 2020

The 43rd edition of the 24 Heures Motos, initially postponed to 5 and 6 September 2020 due to government restrictions following the coronavirus outbreak, has now been rescheduled for end-August.

The 24 Heures Motos and 24 Heures du Mans (which has also been postponed, to 19 and 20 September 2020) are two iconic races organized by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest. In order to give the ACO sufficient leeway to organize these two major events within a short span of time, Automobile Club de l’Ouest, in agreement with the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) and the FIM EWC promoter Eurosport Events, has decided to bring the dates of the 43rd edition of the 24 Heures Motos forward to 29 and 30 August 2020.

The FIM, Eurosport Events and ACO’s priority is to ensure the safety of spectators, teams, competitors and all the people involved in organizing the event, as well as high-quality events. These measures have been adopted in response to the unprecedented situation of the fight against coronavirus.

MXGP of Italy and Germany rescheduled

The FIM and Infront Moto Racing would like to inform that there have been further changes made to the 2020 MXGP racing calendar.

The MXGP of Italy, taking place at the legendary Maggiora circuit, will now be rescheduled from the 17th of May to the 5th of July. Alongside, the MXGP of Germany in Teutschenthal will move from the 24th of May to the 9th of August.

With the current pandemic of the coronavirus, these changes have been vital in order to ensure the health and safety of the staff, teams, riders and fans. Infront Moto Racing along with the FIM, FIM Europe and the local organisers are working hard in order to preserve the FIM Motocross World Championship calendar as much as possible.

The FIM Motocross World Championship is planning to return with the MXGP of Russia taking place at the impressive Orlyonok venue on the 7th of June 2020. We would like to thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time.
