The 2025 FIM AFRICA General Assembly was held at the beautiful Vipingo Ridge in Mombasa, Kenya on 8 November, bringing together delegates from across the continent for a productive and positive meeting.

Twelve African Federations were represented at the Assembly, namely Cote d’Ivoire, Egypt, Kenya, Madagascar, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Uganda and Zambia.

The General Assembly was also notably well represented by women from the different Federations, whose presence and participation added immense value to the discussions. It was a pleasure to meet and engage in person with delegates from the various FMNs and to continue strengthening the long standing bonds within the African motorcycling community.

FIM AFRICA was honoured by the presence of Mr Damiano Zamana, FIM Deputy CEO and Operations Director, who attended the meeting and provided valuable input. He assisted in addressing questions relating to the proposed Statute changes, the Advantage Card and FIM Insurance, among other key topics that were discussed.

All items on the agenda were approved, including the amended Statutes, which were adopted unanimously.

FIM AFRICA extends its sincere thanks to the MSFK Executive, and in particular to Renzo, Julie and Sheryl, for graciously agreeing to host the General Assembly and for their warm hospitality.

Appreciation is also extended to all the staff of Vipingo Ridge for their excellent service, with special thanks to Brian, who coordinated the function with great care and professionalism.
