The FIM CTI Technical Steward Seminar is currently underway at the scenic Thaba Eco Hotel in Johannesburg, taking place from 14–15 May 2025. Facilitated by FIM Instructor Andres Zalazar from Argentina, the seminar brings together a diverse group of delegates from across the African continent, including representatives from South Africa, who are preparing for the upcoming W2RC, as well as Kenya, Namibia, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
A total of 18 delegates are participating, including six women, reflecting the growing involvement and impact of women in technical roles within motorcycle sport across Africa.
The seminar’s first day is dedicated to theoretical training, while the second day will focus on practical application.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the FIM and FIM AFRICA to strengthen and expand technical sporting expertise across the African Continental Union (CONU).
