2021 FIM AFRICA MOTOCROSS OF AFRICAN NATIONS

FIM AFRICA is very saddened to hear of the slanderous rumours that are being spread in the motocross community on the continent, regarding the venue for the 2021 MXOAN.  It is important to note that due process will be followed, as has been done over the past 22 years, for any African Continental Championship.

The FIM AFRICA council recently held a meeting with the FMU Organising committee and the dates for the track inspections have been confirmed. We are also pleased to advise that the track inspections will be conducted by the Sporting Director as well as Jack Cheney from South Africa, both of whom are very experienced officials. Once the track inspections have been conducted a final decision will be confirmed.

We request that the parties spreading these rumours, please refrain immediately!! This type of rumour-mongering only causes unhappiness and uncertainty for the FIM AFRICA members. Until further notice, the 2021 MXOAN will be held in Uganda and organised by the recognized Motorcycle Federation (FMU).
