INFORMATION – FIM GRAND PRIX WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP – 2020 CALENDAR UPDATE – GRAN PREMIO MOTUL DE LA REPUBLICA ARGENTINA RESCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER

Gran Premio Motul de la Republica Argentina rescheduled for November

Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, the Argentina GP has been postponed

The FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports regret to announce the postponement of the Gran Premio Motul de la Republica Argentina, which was set to take place from the 17th to the 19th of April. Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, the event has been rescheduled for later in the season and will now take place from the 20th to the 22nd of November.

The Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana will therefore now be held from the 27th to the 29th of November.

The Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas retains its new date from the 13th to the 15th of November, a week before the rescheduled Gran Premio Motul de la Republica Argentina.

Following these schedule changes, the 2020 MotoGP™ class season is now set to begin with the Gran Premio Red Bull de España at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto from the 1st to the 3rd of May 2020.

Dates for the Moto2™ and Moto3™ test in Valencia and the MotoGP™ test in Jerez at the end of the year will be decided once the season is underway.

2020 Calendar update 11 March – FIM X-Trial Wiener Neustadt cancelled

As the global outbreak of coronavirus continues to develop, the Austrian Authorities have communicated that it is now forbidden to hold indoor events with more than one hundred people and outdoor events with more than five hundred people in attendance until further notice.

The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), the promoter 2Play, the Austrian Federation (AMF) and the local organiser therefore regret to announce the cancellation of the event that was scheduled to take place on 21 March, in Wiener Neustadt, Austria.

The final of the 2020 FIM X-Trial World Championship will take place in Andorra la Vella (AND), on April 25, 2020.

INFORMATION – 2020 MXGP CALENDAR UPDATE – MXGP OF PATAGONIA, ARGENTINA NEW DATE!

Please find enclosed the Press Release / FIM MXGP/MX2/ Women’s Motocross World Championships 2020 MXGP Calendar Update – MXGP of Patagonia, Argentina new date!

The FIM and Infront Moto Racing are glad to inform that a new date for the MXGP of Patagonia, Argentina, which was recently postponed, can now be revealed as it’s bound to be held in Neuquen on November 21st and 22nd 2020.

Infront Moto Racing along with the FIM, the local organiser +Eventos SA, as well as the Argentinian authorities have worked close to find an alternative date for this event.

This new date will now see the FIM Motocross World Championship calendar extend, but this change was necessary in order to preserve the championship programme as much as possible.

INFORMATION – FIM MXGP/MX2/ WOMEN’S MOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMP – 2020 MXGP CALENDAR UPDATE – MXGP OF PATAGONIA, ARGENTINA POSTPONED

Please find enclosed the Press Release / FIM MXGP/MX2/ Women’s Motocross World Championships 2020 MXGP Calendar Update – MXGP of Patagonia, Argentina Postponed.

The FIM and Infront Moto Racing regret to inform that due to the coronavirus outbreak, the MXGP of Patagonia, Argentina, scheduled on March the 21st and 22nd has also been postponed. The new date for the Argentinian round will be announced shortly.

Owing to a decision of the Argentinian Minister of Health to postpone any international events during this particular moment, Infront Moto Racing, in agreement with the FIM and the local organiser +Eventos SA, as well as the Argentinian authorities, is enforced to postpone the MXGP of Patagonia in Argentina to a later date in the year.

The FIM and Infront Moto Racing, along with the national organizers are working very close to preserve the health of all those involved in the FIM Motocross World Championship as well as the Championship programme as much as they can; the aim is to find a feasible date that will see the MXGP calendar extend in 2020. More information on an exact date will be announced very soon.

The International situation has been monitored on a daily basis by the Promoter of the FIM Motocross World Championship and the FIM. More details on the new date will be released shortly, but in the meantime, once again, we ask everybody for a great sense of responsibility.
