Brother Leader Tread KTM prepare for National Enduro season finale
Brother Leader Tread KTM are gearing up for the final round of the National Enduro Championship which takes places in Creighton, KwaZulu-Natal, this weekend. With two championships on the line, the season finale is sure to have fans salivating.
Spearheading the hunt for national titles in the E2 Class is Scott Bouverie. While the rider has had his fair share of challenges this season, only seven points separate him from the top of the leader board in his class. Renowned for his sense of composure and technical capabilities, Bouverie will be looking to showcase his formidable mental fortitude. He will be looking to take full advantage of all that rugged Natal has to offer as he lines up on Saturday.
To add the already nail-biting event, Brother Leader Tread KTM teammate Bradley Cox finds himself in a similar position as Bouverie. The rider also lies in second in his class, with just a seven-point deficit keeping him from the top step of the E1 Class.
Cox will certainly head into the event with a strong sense of confidence after his recent National Cross Country victory, where he snatched up the OR3 Championship for the second time in his career. With his sights set on adding yet another national title to an already impressive 2020 season Cox will be looking to add yet another feather to his cap with enduro glory.
Rounding out the team this weekend is yet another National Champion, Charan Moore. As a Cross Country rider by vocation, Moore will take on the race this weekend without any pressure to perform. Having recently been crowned the country’s OR1 champion, however, anything is possible from Moore this weekend.
Brother Leader Tread KTM’s Kirsten Landman has unfortunately withdrawn from the event this weekend as she continues to recover from a shoulder injury.
KTM South Africa’s Marketing Manager Louwrens Mahoney commented, “I can’t believe it’s the last race of the year! We’re very fortunate to be in the position to win a championship in both E1 and E2. As a team we are ready for the weekend – the racing is going to be tight and we’re so excited to watch it unfold.”
