INFORMATION – FIM CEV REPSOL MOTO3™ JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2020 CALENDAR, UPDATE 16 APRIL

Please find enclosed the Press Release / FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship 2020 Calendar, UPDATE 16 APRIL.

As a result of the ongoing Coronavirus disease pandemic and the associated restrictions that have been put in place globally, this has already forced one modification to the 2020 calendar, namely the postponement of the Algarve Round. However, despite the challenges that continued to be faced in the current circumstances, all parties involved in the FIM CEV Repsol series would like to reaffirm that returning to racing – when safe to do so – remains a priority for 2020.

With this very much in mind, the Valencia Round that was set to be held from 23rd-24th May will now be rescheduled, with the FIM CEV Repsol management making every effort to find a new date in the season that can accommodate this event.
If an earlier date does not prove possible, the initial Valencia Round races will be run on Saturday 7th November, the same weekend as the last round on the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship calendar, which is scheduled to be held on Sunday 8th November as planned.

All parties remain committed to running the entire 2020 season. However, this will always be done in accordance with the health and safety advice from the respective governments and the relevant health authorities.
